Pair Finance, fintech for AI-based debt collection and receivables management, is strengthening its legal department: Daniela Gaub (37) will take over the newly created position of Senior Legal Counsel from July 1, 2021. The fully qualified lawyer was previously head of the legal department at the Bundesverband Deutscher Inkasso-Unternehmen e.V. (BDIU).

Stephan Stricker, founder and chief executive of debt collection service provider Pair Finance, is taking a similar approach: "Thanks to modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, we are now able to address individuals individually via their preferred channel and at a time that is convenient for them, and offer them a personalized solution." PAIR Finance addresses debtors on an individual basis: some by their first names, others more formally - some get text messages, others get a letter. Zalando is now taking a stake in the debt collection service.
