PAIR Finance welcomes former Head of Legal Affairs of the industry association BDIU

Daniela Gaub will strengthen the areas of Collection Law and Data Protection Law in a newly created position
The fully qualified lawyer was previously head of legal affairs at the Federal Association of German Debt Collectors (BDIU)

Berlin, June 30, 2021 – PAIR Finance, Germany’s leading fintech for AI-based debt collection and receivables management, is strengthening its Legal Department: Daniela Gaub (37) will take on the newly created position of Senior Legal Counsel from July 1, 2021. The fully qualified lawyer was previously Head of the Legal Department at the Federal Association of German Debt Collectors (BDIU). At PAIR Finance, she will be responsible for the areas of debt collection law and data protection law. Daniela Gaub reports to Mathias Kadler, General Counsel at PAIR Finance.

Daniela Gaub worked as a fully qualified lawyer at the BDIU from 2012 and has headed the association’s Legal Department since 2017. Not only does she have in-depth knowledge of the legal areas of receivables management but she’s also familiar with a wide range of business and legal issues, including those relating to digitization topics. After studying law at the University of Potsdam, Daniela Gaub earned her 2nd state law degree at the Berlin Court of Appeals. Since 2013, she has also been a lecturer at the German Debt Collection Academy (DIA), leading training courses, primarily with a focus on civil, professional and data protection law.
