Berlin-based digital debt collection specialist Pair Finance has a new majority shareholder. For around 60 million euros, the English private equity firm Pollen Street Capital is taking over the fintech company. With the new investor, Pair Finance wants to push the internationalization of its business.

AI-based debt collection fintech Pair Finance has hired former Flaconi executive Susanne Wruck as chief operating officer (COO). "Starting at Pair Finance is an exciting opportunity for me. Pair Finance's technology is a game changer." (...) After ten years in e-commerce at Flaconi and Bringmeister, she now takes over from Fabian Platzen, who now wants to focus on his job as Chief Financial Officer.

Collection fintech Pair Finance has recruited Susanne Wruck as its new COO. From August 1, 2022, she will take over the role from Fabian Platzen, who will now focus on his role as Chief Financial Officer. Wruck most recently spent a decade in e-commerce at Flaconi and Bringmeister. At Flaconi, she was primarily responsible for fulfillment, delivery and customer care.

The payment reminder is lost in the flood of mail, the first reminder is not opened,
the second one either. And then things take their course: debt collection, legal dunning proceedings, and so on. This usually ends unpleasantly and with a lot of resentment towards each other. But according to Pair Finance, it doesn't have to come to that. Founder and CEO Stephan Stricker combines debt collection and the dunning process with behavioral research based on artificial intelligence. He claims that 90 percent of cases can be resolved before court. (€)
